Overview
Discover the key differences between parlay and round robin bets.
Parlays
Parlays are a selection of bets combined into one large bet. Every pick in the parlay must hit for the bet to cash, but if they do, the payouts are substantially larger than they are for the bets as individuals. Learn more about parlay bets.
Round Robins
Round robins break down the parlays into smaller parlays to allow for a missed leg. The payouts aren’t as large as they are for the full parlay, but they’re still larger than they would be if every leg was placed as an individual bet.
Example
Let’s pretend we have a three-leg parlay that consists of Pick A, Pick B, and Pick C. That parlay turned into a round robin would result in three two-leg parlays: -
- Parlay one: Picks A and B
- Parlay two: Picks B and C
- Parlay three: Picks A and C
If two of the three legs hit, then one of the three round robins would cash. If all three legs hit, all three round robins would cash. If one or none of the legs hit, then none of the bets would cash.
