This guide is going to go through the marketing strategies we’ve used to grow Monster + strategies other brands in the sports space are using to grow in order to help affiliates capitalize on our affiliate program (We pay out 30% to affiliates on recurring basis, Ex: a user signs up with your affiliate link, and you will forever get 30% of the revenue generated).
Getting My Affiliate Link
Getting your affiliate link is a VERY straight forward process. All you have to do is take your Whop username (Which can be found in your account settings here) https://whop.com/account/general/ and plug it into this link: https://monster.bet/?a={username}

Every person who clicks this link and goes to the signup page through here and converts will be attributed to you.
PLEASE NOTE: You need to be a Monster Bet user on the account you are affiliating on to get 30%, otherwise Whop will payout 15%.

Picks
This is the main page of the application and it’s where you can see the picks recommended by Monster. There are 4 tabs: Player Props, Moneyline, Spreads, and totals. This is relatively straight forward, these tabs seperate each relevant market.
You can filter by sport, by date, by market, by odds, and by Model probability (Confidence) in the filters:
The Lab
The Lab is essentially our research feature which has all games for all sports available to open and has all relevant stats for each game available. Think team stats, rankings, recent results, Player analytics, player projections, player stats, and more!
Player Profiles
Player Profiles are a solid way to do in depth research on a specific player, view his past performances, upcoming matchups, do line shopping, and more.
Monster LLM (BETA)
We created a AI Research Agent inside of our discord. It can do a lot, such as: Find the best picks available, build parlays, Analyze games, Analyze a player’s expected {stat}, weather reports, lineup and injury reports, and MORE is on the way.

These are a couple different marketing approaches you can take on your affiliate account/brand.
Sports Humor
Utilizing humor is a great way to grow and keep audiences engaged. There are multiple ways to go about it:

Handicapping Approach
The more common route most will take is essentially the “Handicapping” route. What you will be doing here is taking your favorite picks from Monster, and doing breakdowns on them. Using the Lab will be huge here if you don’t want to do outside research, to help viewers understand why a pick is a good one based on available data.

Content Styles
Humorous Narration
Humorous Narration is a style that Polymarket nails really well. Basically you take an event that happened (Insane gameplay from a scrub, really bad play from a star, really bad Underdog upset that shouldn’t have happened) and you narrate it in a funny way.

Polymarket will tie in their own metrics into their videos somehow which is incredible marketing. If you are funny and know ball you can find a winning formula with this very easily.
Pick analysis
This type of content will essentially be taking X number of picks (Recommend 1 to 3, any more than that and people will just tail you instead of converting) and giving the reasoning behind why each is good.
Format is essentially:
{Hook} -> {Pick + Analysis} -> {Pick + Analysis} -> {Pick + Analysis} -> {Call to action}
Or you can just go over what you’re taking. Can mix in the fact you are using AI/Machine Learning to make picks, throw in social proof etc.

Postgame pick recap
This is the style that trada picks and Parlay Capital use to crush the social media game. Basically you take a slip/pick that hit (Or didn’t occasionally, both of these accounts will mix some misses in here and there) and you’ll just react/narrate (Often in a funny way).

Funnels
These are funnels you’ll want to be utilizing on Instagram using Manychat.
Manychat
Manychat is an autoDM tool that you connect to your IG account to send DMs based on triggers (Story Posts and regular posts).
We will go over the types of DMs/triggers below.
Story Post CTA
This is where you set up a trigger. You will want to set it to “User replies to your Story” and set the keyword(s) you want to trigger it.
You will then want to set a body message. If you are doing this for a pick, it will be something like:

In the story post itself you will want some social proof/CTA with the keyword to reply to your story.
Post CTA
Exact same as story post, but instead it’ll be on a post.

Subtweet CTA
On posts that do good, It’s 100% worth doubling back and adding a subtweet under with a CTA through your affiliate link. Doing it under every post comes off as spammy/ingenuine.
Engagement Farming
X’s algorithm is open source, and Elon has said it himself multiple times that engaging with others is great for growth. This does NOT mean you want to spam comment reply emojis under every post in your feed. What you want to do is do 1-3 comment block sections a day where you just reply to as many tweets as you can without coming off aas a robot.
For Example:
- Agreeing with posts
- DISAGREEING with posts
- Providing insightful info
- Hype manning
Etc. so you don’t get flagged as an emoji spammer.
You can do this by either:
- Replying to posts in your feed
- Making “Engagement” lists on twitter with the list feature and adding bigger sports/handicapper accounts to it and engaging with all recent tweets on that list.
